Retro platformer The Incident leaping onto iPhone tomorrow

Back in March, developer Big Bucket Software promised that its intriguing-looking arcade platformer The Incident would be coming soon to the iPhone.
Five months down the road and ‘soon’ equals tomorrow. Already out in the infamous New Zealand App Store, this fast paced slice of survival action should be available around midnight this evening, GMT.
What is the cause of the The Incident, you ask? Well, only when you’ve evaded everything from a taxi to a fire hydrant, and clambered up the newly formed mountain of debris to the summit, will you find out.
My money’s on it being the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk.
Instead of ‘magic’ beans, though, The Incident’s seven levels are packed full of power-ups, power-downs, and hundreds of collectibles.
Take a look at the delightfully retro artwork in the vid below, and note that The Incident is now a universal app, so will look suitably resplendent on iPad, too.
Don’t expect to have to pay any more than £1.19 for The Incident when it hops, skips, and jumps into the UK / US overnight.
