Twin Blades' slash and boss update due soon
Also comes with new storyline and environments
I enjoyed the graphical flourishes and general action orientation of Press Start Studio's Twin Blades but it certainly wasn't the most in depth experience ever.
Indeed, as I ended my review, "Hopefully longevity and a bit more variety will come with the planned updates and the promise of more zombies types, and in time, bosses and another slash move for the nun. Still, for the time being, this is a sharp little number".
And now it seems that time has finally come.
The update - which covers iPhone as well as the XBLA version that's been released - should be submitted next week and hopefully be live by the end of March.
It brings some fairly major additions in terms of new slash combos, a mini map so you can travel around the game world, new environments, a storyline, and perhaps most importantly big boss challenges.
