Twin Blades slasher demoed on Windows Phone 7 prototype

Over in Paris yesterday Microsoft held one of its reMIX events for web developers, developers, developers.

Much like Apple's WWDC (June 7th, people), the reMIX conferences give registered designers and developers access to upcoming website technologies and tools from the Redmond-based software giant.

Rather less dully, the event also allows participants to show off magical and revolutionary (is that trademarked?) projects.

One such event-goer, Press Start Studios, seized this opportunity to demonstrate a version of Bronze Award-winning Twin Blades running full tilt on a modified Samsung Windows Phone 7 handset.

Whats even more impressive is that this ambitious port from XBLA and iPhone was completed in just a fortnight by a single programmer using 90 per cent of the existing Xbox Live code.

The eye-popping, manga hack 'n' slash also includes Xbox Live integration, a Windows Phone 7 feature of particular import here at Pocket Gamer Towers.
