Chillingo's SEED 2: Vortex of War iPhone RPG 59p for two weeks

Chillingo’s action RPG Seed 2: Vortex of War only swept onto the App Store last month, yet the heroic Litta’s latest epic adventure has already been put on temporary sale.
This particular mobile-to-iPhone port collected a disappointing 5 from PG’s Tracy, criticised for its ‘antiquated conventions: the prevalence of fetch requests, an unlikeable skill system, and rigid controls.’
Should you happen to be a fan of the interactive storytelling genre, though, the newer, far more attractive 59p price point of SEED 2: Vortex of War may be enough to entice you into the turbulent environs of Kalikuf.
Five years have passed since the events of SEED 1: Rise of Darkness, and the newly graduated educator Litta travels to the wartorn city Moizer after a bizarre dream.
Accompanied by the delightful Gina, our plucky young hero must overcome 160 kinds of monsters on 200+ battlefields, deliver precious items, offer protection, collect treasures, and eat, I should imagine, after all that.
To help Litta’s cause, character attributes, such as swordplay, firearms, and magic can be upgraded, but beware – equipment changes affect your costume, which in turn must be appropriate for the volatile weather conditions. Or else.
Crystal leaderboards are integrated into the bargain, and, on that subject, Seed 2: Vortex of War can now be picked up for 59p.
Better hurry, for the promotion only runs for a fortnight.
