Ratatouille has a tail to tell on mobile
THQ Wireless bringing Disney Pixar movie to phones
Rats are great. Okay, you might not want them grubbing around your dustbin or assaulting your ears as part of a mawkish Michael Jackson song, but at all other times, rats rule. Remember, a hamster is a poor man's pet rat. Really.
Disney Pixar knows this, which is why its new film Ratatouille is all about a wannabe-chef rat called Remy (do you see what they did with the title, there?). And THQ Wireless has snapped up the rights to make the official mobile game.
Cooking is the focus of the game, too. It starts with a 'Paris Brunch' tutorial, before moving into the main 'Busy Bistro' game, which has Remy cooking up a storm for customers and food critics, while racing against rival chefs and trying not to get sacked.
Do well, and you'll get promoted, while upgrading your utensils, cooktops and spice collection. THQ says the controls have been refined down to make it a one-thumb game, while the soundtrack is suitably atmospheric (i.e. French accordion music).
Ratatouille is out soon, so click 'Track It!' for a tasty treat when we review it. Well, an email, anyway.
