Apple places job ad for ‘iPhone sales staff’, prompt rumours of August iPhone 5 launch
|

A whole bunch of job advertisements covering various regions of the UK has been posted by employment website Reed.

The ads ask for, "full-time iPhone Sales Staff for an exciting project to work 5 days a week (Tuesday-Saturday) for the period 16th August - 29th October within key retail stores".

Why on earth would that be? Possibly something to do with the iPhone 5, which Apple has predictably declined to announce.

While we had heard rumours that the iPhone 5 would be arriving in September, it wouldn’t be a huge leap of the imagination for Apple to confound us all with a surprise August launch.

Gekko Ltd, the recruitment agency responsible for the Apple staff, may have given us an important clue with these ads. Or it could all be nothing.

If you’re interested in applying, the job pays a respectable £75 a day.
