Black Desert Mobile is not out yet. That's probably not a shock, and if you need to know more about the game, we can definitely recommend our article on 'Everything you need to know about Black Desert Mobile.' Well, we would say that, of course…

Black Desert Mobile is a huge MMO that you can carry around with you wherever you go, and before you jump into the game, you should go prepared with these tips so you can make the most of your time with the game, and play without any confusion.

The game launches on both iOS and Android on December 11th 2019, which is soon, so you can pre-register now, and do so with this information to fully understand and master things without confusion.

So just read through our introductory guides and you'll be fully prepared to play through all of Black Desert Mobile!

A whole new world to explore - or not

Black Desert Mobile has a massive world to explore, and you'll be able to do most of that through questing. As soon as you get a quest you can tap it in your menu, and your character will automatically start running towards the quest target. Which is nice, and prevents you getting lost.

However, this is a problem in games such as AxE: Alliance VS Empire, where the game essentially plays itself, and can really take you out of the experience. It's a massive shame.

Luckily, it's only the path routing that is taken out of your hands here - getting to where a quest takes place is easy, but then when it comes to foraging, interacting with objects or NPCs, fighting with enemies - well that's all you, and you will have to actually put in some effort to overcome the challenges ahead. Much better than having the entire game play itself…

1
Take some time to explore

Yes, paths to your next objectives are handled automatically, but that in itself is a bit of a problem. The world has so much to see, so much to offer, and you shouldn't limit yourself to only looking at what the game shows you.

Ignore the quest for a change and move off in your own direction, fight different enemies and bosses, and takes things at your own pace.

Straying from the beaten path can quite easily end up with you finding brand new items, chests, enemies, and more.

2
New gear and upgrades

As you get through the game and clear quests you will, inevitably, earn more gear, weapons, armour, and more, and if they enhance your overall combat power, you can equip them easily.

New items which aren't so useful will just be sorted into your inventory, but better gear than what you currently use will be highlighted on the main screen, and tapping it will equip it instantly. It'll even tell you how much extra CP you'll get!

You can enhance your gear even further with the power of your dark shadow and materials, but you should save those for the truly amazing pieces of gear.

3
Boss monsters

Of course, what good is an MMO without some big and fearsome boss monsters to fight against? Yes, bigger quests will find you going up against bosses, and after that, boss rushes.

First you'll be fighting against the big quests, and then later on you'll be going against the bosses again in a boss rush mode which can offer you even more rewards.

The boss rush mode is an excellent way to see how far you've come once you've gotten better gear, but the idea of endlessly fighting against big boss monsters is a pretty boring one if you ask me…
