From RuneScape developer Jagex, Miner Disturbance brings a cute slice of updated Dig Duggery to iPhone.

It's based on the free Java game that doesn't work on my computer, but with brand new graphics, levels and power-ups. This ultimate edition features 25 stages to mine through, as well as a randomly generated volcano.

You've even got a museum where you can show off all the cool stuff you've excavated, as well as OpenFeint, Facebook, and Twitter integration so you can tell all your buddies about your game progress.

Jagex is also pleased to announce that its two previous games, StarCannon and Bouncedown, have enjoyed over 4.5 million downloads. How nice for them.

Miner Disturbance is available now for iPhone and iPod touch for the introductory price of 59p / 99c / €0.79c. It'll return to its usual price of £1.19 / $1.99 / €1.59 soon enough, so get in quick.
