It's not quite Easter but, as is the way of business, Nintendo's already trying to entice us from thoughts of buckets and spades with its own beachful of games. Indeed, the DS summer release schedule for games both from Nintendo and other publishers (the latter are covered
here) is bulging with over 50 titles due between now and June.
The slightly disappointing thing about Nintendo's list, however, is it doesn't include any surprises, at least in terms of games we hadn't heard about before.
The biggest point of interest is the announcement that
Metroid Prime Pinball – which was released in the US 18 months ago – is finally getting a UK outing. You'll be able to sign up for some
Metroid-style nudging sometime in June.
Also swelling the shop shelves in June will be
Mario: Master of Disguise and
Kirby Mouse Attack. The latter was released as
Kirby Squeak Squad in the US last year.
The other 'new' news from Nintendo concerns the release of
Custom Robo Arena. This neat build-your-own-battle-robot game, which also features a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection multiplayer mode, will be released on May 25th.
