Yet another Apple Tablet rumour - now it's got a webcam
This one’s the tastiest yet
Have you seen our round-up of the rumours surrounding the so-called Apple Tablet? Slightly sketchy, certainly, but there’s definitely something tablet shaped going on at Cupertino.
The suspicions have been strengthened by an anonymous - but apparently reliable - source who “may or may not have sat in some Apple meetings for the tablet.” Judging by the following description we’re guessing that they did, so they should stop being such a tease.
Anyway, this source told Gizmodo that they had gone hands on with mock-ups of the rumoured device. So what do we know?
Apparently the device will “have a 10 inch screen” and basically look “just like a giant iPhone,” complete with “the same black resin back, and the familiar home button.”
According to the man (allegedly) in the know, the device will come in two flavours – one with a built in webcam and one without. It’ll be positioned to bridge the gap between the iPhone and MacBook, so it will cost somewhere between $700 and $900.
