Apple Tablet rumour round-up, with videos
Would you buy one of these big iPod touches?
I think I probably would, even though the latest spate of 'leaked' videos showing the rumoured, large form iPod touch touchscreen tablet devices are probably fake.
TechCrunch has dug up a couple of grainy videos apparently showing the Apple Tablet in action. Regardless of their authenticity, these videos do offer a fascinating hint at what a 10 inch touchscreen iPhone might look like - and it's undeniably awesome.
Of course, these sorts of fakies are often a precursor to an official announcement, and Apple's also been spotted out and about with a camera crew, believed to be filming a commercial for an ' unknown' new device, which we'd like to believe is the fabled Tablet.
Apple is well known for its showboating skills, which means we're unlikely to hear anything direct from the Cupertino fruit tree in a casual press release. However, Steve Jobs's dudes like to have a big iPod get-together around September, so we might yet find out the truth about the Tablet before Christmas.
To round out the rumours, we've thrown in a video at the bottom put together by Conniption Entertainment, which was curious about what its new Towers of War game might look like on a large form touchscreen device.
