Smoking Gun Interactive has announced that a new update will arrive for Phobies tomorrow. It's called Symphony of the Undead and introduces new Phobies, maps, tiles, and the biggest event so far, which promises to reward you with plenty of goodies.

Nine new Phobies are arriving in the update, each bringing new abilities that will hopefully mix up the turn-based strategy's current meta. Among these additions, there's the Mummy, who can spawn creepy babies across the map.

If swarming isn't to your taste, perhaps you'd prefer the Conductor, who is capable of bolstering your undead's leeching rate, making them harder to remove from the battlefield. Or, maybe you'd enjoy the challenge of getting the most from Jaws, a unit that feeds on friendly units to dish out more damage.

Alongside the Phobie roster growing, you will also find seven new maps themed around the idea of a pet cemetery, which sounds incredibly macabre. Two of them are community-created contest winners, which is a nice touch.

Symphony of the Undead also brings the conveyor belt map tile. As you've probably guessed from the name alone, it allows you to move across the map in a new way. Alternatively, you can manipulate it to push opposing Phobies into an undesirable location.

Finally, the update coincides with the release of the biggest Phobies event so far. Running for four weeks, it sees you battling against an army of the undead to complete challenges. For your efforts, you can net some big prizes and rewards – apparently, the most Smoking Gun Interactive has given out before.

Phobies is available now on the App Store, Google Play, and Steam as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can download it for your preferred mobile platform using the links below.
