Pac-Man Battle Royale is heading to the 3DS as part of the Pac-Man Museum collection
Pac-Men
There's a new collection of Pac-Man games, entitled Pac-Man Museum, heading to the 3DS eStore.
No, wait! Come back!
Before you skulk off to read something more interesting, the aforementioned collection includes Pac-Man Battle Royale, Namco Bandai's multiplayer take on the pill-munching hero.
This marks the first time the game has been available outside of an arcade. Well, the first time apart from a one-level demo for iPad that's only available in the US.
Up to four players take control of different Pac-Men and chomp their way around a level. The twist is that power pills now enable you to eat other players as well as ghosts.
The Pac-Man Museum collection also features classic Pac-Man games from the '80s and '90s alongside the 2008 update Pac-Man Championship Edition.
This compilation will go live on the eShop sometime this winter. We'll keep you updated on the collection's price and release date over the coming months.
