Social eat-'em-up Pac-Man Battle Royale comes to iPad

Video games have spawned numerous rivalries in the past. Cloud versus Sephiroth, Sonic versus Dr Robotnik, and Mario versus Bowser are just a few of the notable conflicts.

Now, a new rivalry is set to hit the digital world, as Namco Bandai Games brings Pac-Man Battle Royale to the iPad.

Offered in celebration of the North American arcade release of the same game, Pac-Man Battle Royale pits four players against each other with one simple rule – last Pac-Man standing wins.

Gameplay is relatively familiar with an on-screen joystick offering classic Pac-Man control. Eating a power pellet will not only allow you to gobble up ghosts, but fellow players as well.

Unfortunately for us Europeans, Pac-Man Battle Royale is available exclusively to holders of a US iTunes account. It can be download now, for free.
