Fairytale platformer Plushed out now for iPhone
Spend time with the pizzaeater
While the past week has seen the release of high profile titles from big publishers - think Avatar, N.O.V.A. and Need for Speed - there's also been a stream of games from indie studios, who hope to make an impact over the holiday season.
One such is Plushed, the debut from Blacksmith Games.
It’s an irreverent take on the platforming genre, which sees you take control of a plush bunny rabbit, out to rescue his owner who’s trapped in a fairytale-gone-wrong.
Along the way, you have to shake trees to collect pizza slices, and use the pizzas to feed the pizzaeater, a creature you then jump onto to access hard-to-reach areas. Yes, it’s that sort of game.
Personally, I’m looking forward to spending some quality time in the hand-drawn, oddly-magical kingdom.
