Nintendo has confirmed that upcoming shooting / fighting / flying title Kid Icarus: Uprising is heading to European shores on March 23rd, and it's bringing a friend.

This weird plastic stand, if we're being specific.

Yes, it's been confirmed that every copy of the angelic shooter will come with a free bit of plastic to position your 3DS on. Or to quote Nintendo, "a new kind of gaming experience".

I'm fairly certain people have played with the 3DS propped up before.

A new kind of cross-heading experience

Other details revealed by the publishing giant include confirmation that the title will support the upcoming Circle Pad Pro accessory, giving left-handed players the choice of playing with a Circle Pad.

The game will also feature nine categories of weapons and vehicles (including everyone's favourite: a tank).
