To the untrained eye he may look like a poorly drawn stick figure, but we're assured that Johnny Rocketfingers already has something of a cult following, thanks to his outrageously violent and often amusing flash games.

And now the fast-talking action anti-hero is set to meet, greet and no doubt do unspeakable things to a whole host of new mobile gamers.

Created by Ojom (of Foto Fighter, Manager Pro – World Championship Edition and Shaun of the Dead fame), the Johnny Rocketfingers mobile game will offer the same multiple choice, object-interacting adventuring action of its flash forebears, spread over three sizeable chapters.

It also promises to be just as 'adult' in tone, albeit in a cartoon stylee, so readers who draw the line at seeing stick-thin charcoal characters dismembered should probably give this a miss, and possibly call the Daily Mail for good measure.

We're more concerned about how the occasionally fiddly mouse control and object selection of the online experience will be improved on mobile. With an August release date slated, our curiosity (and your blood lust) will both be satisfied soon enough.
