First content update for God of Blades is in production
What was that about mating space jellyfish?
God of Blades is set to receive its first content update in the weeks ahead according to a post on the developer's website.
Although details are still thin on what this update will include for the Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winner, White Whale Games indicated that it will feature "...a new phantasmagorical landscape for players to battle across."
And when you think of phantasmagorical landscapes, you naturally think of eons-old breeding grounds for gigantic, flying space jellyfish. That's what White Whale Games did, anyway, and the result is eerily beautiful.
The blog post focuses on the thought process behind the new level's creation, and the amount of time and detail invested clearly shows in the finished product:
We're not sure when the content update will go live, as 'in production' can mean a number of things. Based on the detail shown in the artwork above, however, a release before the end of the year seems likely.
