Following the beta testing phase of the joint venture between Sony and Sky, the full release of the Go!View video-on-demand service is available from today for the PSP in the UK and Ireland.

Sony's handheld users can now get their fill of TV shows, films and sports events while on the move (assuming you've a net connection, of course). Promising top entertainment shows including Heroes, Desperate Housewives and The Mighty Boosh, through to sporting highlights such as Barclays Premier League football from Sky Sports and a wide selection of movies, you can test out the service with a 30-day free trial.

You can pick up a bit more info on exactly what Go!View is and how it works by taking a look at our GoView! hands-on experience with the system back in July, then head on over to the official site to check it out for yourself. We want to hear your opinions on it, so make sure to let us know in the comments below or on the Pocket Gamer forums. Happy viewing!

Spanner Spencer
Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
