The challenges that are present in Darkest Dungeon are quite literally something straight out of a horror movie, but not everything is dark and twisted, and of course, we're talking about the curios. Curios are various objects that players can run into during their expeditions, and they can have a number of different shapes and forms.
Some curios are altars, others are chests. Some have different requirements for opening, and others are triggered by quests. Today's article will explore all of the Darkest Dungeon Curios and where you can usually find them, so if you want to learn more about them, let's dive right in!
What are Curios?
Before we go any further, we need to answer the following question: What exactly are Curios? Well, Curios are objects that can be interacted with that show up on expeditions. When you use a curio, there is a chance that something good or bad will happen. You can improve their chances by using supply items on them, like a torch or a key. Curios can be found in rooms and corridors.There are different kinds of curios in different places, but you can find some of them in every kind of dungeon. Each room can only have one oddity, but some parts of the corridor can have more than one. Curios don't block the way like obstacles do if they aren't activated, so you can leave them alone to reduce risk, especially if you don't have the right provision items to make them work.
