Crayola Treasure Adventures DS confirmed for Europe
Will it draw you in?
Did you know the Crayola brand dates back to 1903? Neither did we – we're barely out of our teens.
What we did know is that there is a Crayola DS game in development although, when we told you about it, nothing had been mentioned about it coming to Europe. Well, now it has – Crayola Treasure Adventures is set to bring some colour to the otherwise gloomy winter months at the start of next year.
Armed with only a treasure map and crayons – your stylus effectively becomes any one of the 120 authentic Crayola colours – the game asks you to draw, colour and think your way past challenging obstacles while travelling through exotic locations on your way to recover stolen colour crystals.
You earn bonus crayons and pictures (a digital colouring book with 100 images can be accessed) throughout your adventure to restore colour to the world and you also get to try out mini-games such as dot-to-dot, jigsaw puzzles and speed colouring along the way.
In short, younger players should have some fun while playing around within a thought-provoking, developmental setting. Which is the very ethos of Crayola.
