Steampunk puzzler gets into gear
We caught a glimpse of Chillingo's fascinating new steampunk puzzle game Cogs a week or two back, and Jon was more than a little impressed.
"It's one of the highest quality puzzle games we've seen in terms of its production quality, and it's one that mixes a simple user interface with some very brain-twisting situations," he explained in a hands on preview with the newly adapted iPhone version.
Cogs requires you to build increasingly complex machinery using sliding tiles and the gears, pipes, balloons, chimes, hammers, wheels, and props attached to them.
This steampunk great egg race pits you against the clock in a visually stunning game, and comes fully loaded with Chillingo's Crystal social gaming network so you can boast about your mechanical achievements more easily.
