Bomberman Dojo bows onto Android

There are certain titles that a mobile platform is obliged to sport before it can really be called a games system – like Tetris, Bejeweled, Pac-Man and, to a lesser degree (though still an important one), Bomberman.

Retro goodness is a great shortcut to pocket gamers' hearts these days, so Bomberman Dojo ought to help the Android system really catch our mobile gaming eye.

This new interpretation of the bomb disposal superhero takes full advantage of the G1’s connectivity, and will allow players to upload and share their own, handmade Bomberman maps.

According to HudsonSoft, a new Bomberman Land game (previously seen on the Wii) will follow shortly after for the Java mobile platform - making it quite the anti-terrorist, retro New Year. Watch this space.
