Android gets Bomberman Dojo and Military Madness

Retro classics rolled out into the Market

Android gets Bomberman Dojo and Military Madness

We heard about the Wii title Bomberman Dojo being ported to the Android at the beginning of the year, and now the Market is accepting paid applications Hudson has rolled out its debut title along with Military Madness.

“The release of Bomberman Dojo and Military Madness launches our participation into game content development for Android Market,” said Yoko Tsumagari, veep of mobile games at Hudson Entertainment.

“Entering into this new marketplace will maximize new business opportunities and contribute towards our goal of enabling Bomberman and Military Madness to be experienced on all mobile platforms.”

This is good news for retro fans. We don’t need to tell you that Bomberman is a nostalgic classic, but Military Madness is a well kept secret from the TurboGrafx-16.

Naturally it’s been suped up for the Android, with fancier graphics and touchscreen controls, featuring the same turn-based strategy gameplay set on the moon as we saw in the original way back in 1990.

Hopefully the Android Market will kick into gear here in the UK before too much longer, and we can check out Bomberman Dojo and Military Madness ourselves.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
