Grr! It's Beowulf: The Mobile Game!
Gameloft's latest movie title looks sumptuous
If there's one thing that's sorely lacking from modern-day mobile games, it's 150-metre sea serpents.
Thankfully, Gameloft has moved swiftly to plug the gap with its new game Beowulf, based on the new Hollywood blockbuster.
The storyline will follow the film and, excitingly, the giant sea snake won't be the only enormous monster you'll face during the game, although Gameloft is keeping mum about the others.
Your character has more than 15 special moves, including the marvellously titled 'Carnal Fury' that clears the screen of enemies in suitably bloodthirsty fashion.
You're also able to interact with the scenery, such as picking up boulders to lob at enemies. However, the thing we're most impressed by so far is the graphical quality evident in the above screenshots, which make Beowulf look like the most visually stunning Gameloft game yet.
