Player X has announced the second operator deal for its 100% Mobile games portal and storefront.

Having launched on O2 UK last year, it's now going to be offered by O2's parent company Telefonica in its native Spain.

The deal involves a dedicated 100% section on Telefonica's emoccion portal, offering games from global and local publishers alike.

Try Before You Buy demos, and rental and pay-per-play pricing will feature, as they did on O2 UK's version. User ratings will also be incorporated.

"Telefónica is the second operator to launch 100% Mobile and we are confident the new site will significantly drive consumption and ARPU as we have successfully done so with O2 UK," says Player X CEO Tony Pearce.

The company says it plans to sign further deals in Europe this quarter for 100% Mobile.
