Plague Inc. is set to be updated with some Dawn of the Planet of the Apes themed content for iOS and Android

Plague Inc.'s next update is set to be a tie-in with simian-spreading sequel Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
You'll be able to simulate the spread of the disease from the movie, and see if you could have done any better at wiping out most of the human population of the world.
As well as making humans ill, the simian flu makes monkeys smarter, so you'll be able to control communities of intelligent apes. It's like a dream come true.
You can send these smart apes to smash up research labs, hide them from the prying eyes of the humans, and generally do your best to make sure there's a new dominant species on the planet.
According to James Vaughan, the developer behind Plague Inc, this update brings the game around in a nice neat circle.
“When I was making Plague Inc. (as a hobby) 3 years ago I was watching the previous film, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and the end credits scene gave me inspiration for Plague Inc. (it features a disease slowly infecting the world). Crazy to think that Plague Inc. is now big enough to work directly with the film’s sequel!”
The update will be available for the iOS and Android version of Plague Inc., and it should be arriving very soon.
