Electronic Super Joy will be bringing its brutal, pulse-pounding platformer gameplay to iOS and Android

Ever since Super Hexagon brought heavy electro beats and a decent challenge to mobile devices, we can't but help look out for more of the same.

So get this: Electronic Super Joy has been described as a merging of Super Meat Boy and Super Hexagon. Colour us a strong shade of interested.

It's a brutally hard platformer with an electro pulse sounding off throughout. There's over 45 level of running, jumping, smashing, and flying, with low-gravity, rotating worlds, huge monsters and terrifying homing missiles.

Unfortunately, Electronic Super Joy is only available on PC, in fact, today marks its full launch on Steam.

Curious, we caught up with developer Michael Todd to ask about a possible mobile port for Electronic Super Joy.

"We are coming to Android," Michael confirmed.

"Also iOS (although Android first, because iOS is such a pain to get on the App Store for anything that isn't 100 percent PG-rated)."

There's no word on exactly when the mobile versions might arrive. But prepare yourself for pain from today.
