Every week, Pocket Gamer provides a weekly digest of the most important and popular stories from these digital pages.

Want a bite size recap of the last seven days in Pocket Gamer land? Well, I think I could be encouraged to write that for you. Lemme see what I can rustle up.

Big game releases last week included Simogo's troubled wander 'em up The Sailor's Dream and monster strategy game Battle Worlds: Kronos.

There was also physics puzzler A Mechanical Story, Mind Candy's World of Warriors, board game adaptation Rebels & Redcoats, adult swim's Day of the Viking and the self explanatory Monkey Racing.

Don't forget about NOON, Sweet Drmzzz, Bitcoin Billionaire, Adventure Age, Mr. Particle Man, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation, and Monzo.

NOON

Luckily for you, we've picked out the three best iOS and Android games of the week so you can spend your cash (and time) more wisely.

Elsewhere, we picked the Best Android games that were released in October, and the best iOS games that dropped last month. And then we looked ahead at all the mobile and handheld games due in November.

We also told you how to find every secret in The Sailor's Dream, picked the 6 best Android tablets for gamers, reviewed the New Nintendo 3DS from a Japanese import, and played Nintendo's largely rubbish 3DS edition of NES Remix.

Seabeard

We've got Chloi out at GDC Next and she's been playing a twisted new Vita platformer, and music creation tool for iOS

Back home, Matt Suckley went Hands-on with Raging Justice - an old school beat em' up for mobile from some ex Rare developers. And Harry and Peter got their mitts on Seabeard, which is a F2P spin on Animal Crossing from the folk who made Rolando.

News wise, EA's got some of Battlefield 4 running on iOS, but that's not coming out. A new mobile-only Need for Speed is, though. There's also a Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare companion app that we mainly wrote about so we could use those four words on Pocket Gamer.

Majoras Mask

Also, dark cult classic The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is getting remade on 3DS next year, Shovel Knight finally came out in Europe so that's my weekend sorted.

Next week, that MOBA from the Apple keynote, Vainglory; much-anticipated sci-fi adventure Space Age; and a nice big juicy secret game are coming out. Get hyped!

Around Steel Media

This week at 148Apps, the review team tackled a host of casual games, from Human Crasher and Winterforts to Dino on Fire, Smash Champs and Twisty Hollow. Plus, Jordan Minor raided the Canadian App Store and returned with previews of Sabers and Gems of War. It’s all right here.

You look nice, is that a new outfit? It really suits you! Anyway beautiful, you should get on over to AppSpy because this week we've been finding out how to make all sorts of Minecraft-themed cakes, gawping at real life fighting robots controlled by your mobile, and seeing all the stupid stuff you can do in Strung Along.
