LEGO Star Wars gets mobile sequel
Feel The Force all over again
When the grizzled Pocket Gamer team were kids, we spent loads of money on Star Wars figures and, separately, on LEGO. But today's youth can combine the two! They don't know they're born, etc..
Having brought out the first Lego Star Wars mobile game last year, THQ Wireless has now announced the sequel, sensibly titled LEGO Star Wars II.
The game is based on the Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope film, with Luke Skywalker and R2-D2 sneaking onto the Death Star to rescue Princess Leia.
What this means is 18 interconnected levels packed with enemies to duff up and puzzles to solve, with you able to play as Luke, R2-D2 or Leia – each with their own abilities and weapons. You can switch between the characters too, which is sometimes necessary to progress, says THQ.
It's set to be the coolest blockbuster-movie-meets-toys game on mobile. At least until someone comes up with a mash-up of Lord Of The Rings and Sticklebricks. Well, we live in hope.
