Zoo Keeper DX Touch Edition on iPhone updated so that it works properly
Let out of its cage
The crushing disappointment at discovering that DS hit Zoo Keeper DX Touch Edition on iPhone had a crippling display error has now been sated somewhat by a new update today.
Initially, the game launched onto the App Store for both iPad and iPhone, with the latter version practically unplayable thanks to the screen hiding one of the columns.
Version 1.0.1 of this addictive puzzler should correct this issue, which was apparently down to the switch from Japanese characters to Latin.
Zoo Keeper DX Touch Edition, for the uninitiated, is a pixel-art casual title that blends puzzle and match-three gameplay, inviting you to tick off a certain type of animal to progress (or just go for a high score on the leaderboards).
It picked up a respectable ‘6’ from us when it was first released on the DS back in 2005, but its pick-up-and-play gameplay is likely more suited to a cheap download title than its £40 boxed original.
You can download the game for £1.19 / $1.99 / €1.59 from the App Store by clicking the link below.
