There may be a new Yo-kai Watch smartphone title on the way and we really hope it's not another 'GO' game
We'll find out soon enough
We've had news of Yo-kai Watch 4 headed to Nintendo Switch sometime this year, but it looks like smartphones might be getting a little love too. Come June 27th, we'll know for sure.
Why that date? Well, because Level-5 has a Yo-kai Watch Anniversary Presentation that it'll be streaming on YouTube where it'll be announcing its newest title.
While we don't have much to go on Yo-kai's official website features an image of Jibanyan and Komasan leaping up from the city beneath them with smartphones in their hands. If that's not enough to go on, and as Gematsu states, some of the accompanying text includes: "Head out on a grand adventure with your smartphone."
We'll keep you updated, of course. Level-5's already brought some cracking ports to mobile so I've got reasonably high hopes for this one. However, there is always that chance Yo-kai Watch will hop on the GO train and bring out some sort of AR game. Hopefully it's the latter.
