Playlogic Entertainment's futuristic shoot-'em up Xyanide: Resurrection will set down on PlayStation Network as a PSP digital download on May 26th.

The PSP game - released as a UMD in 2007, and based on a PS2 and PC shooter - will be available for download at the end of the month.

The game features story, quick play and score attack modes, multiplayer gameplay and 15 levels in four unique worlds.

You can also upgrade your fighter ship with hardware and weapons, and unlock bonus content such as developer artwork and a Xyanide animated comic.

The free demo released on PlayStation Network in PAL territories was remarkably popular, with over 600,000 downloads.

Xyanide joins a whole bunch of legacy PSP games that you can download digitally from PlayStation Network.

The games are priced anywhere from £5 to £30. No price has been set for Xyandie: Resurrection yet.
