Post-apocalyptic episodic iPhone RPG Xenome about to launch onto App Store

If I'd just emerged from 250 years of cryostasis into a post-apocalyptic wasteland, I might want a sit down and a nice cup of tea.

Unsurprisingly that's not on the menu in Xenome, the open-world, action and adventure RPG that US outfit Nine Pound Studio has announced will be hitting the App Store next week.

Technically, though, in keeping with the promised scale of the game, only the first episode will be released.

Well, Nine Pound reckons Xenome contains five square miles of wasteland, teeming with mutated creatures and other dangerous aberrations of nature, and you'll have 60 missions to experience them.

Of course, multiple hours of engaging storyline are also promised as are RPG grinding standards such as building up your experience, wealth, abilities and collecting over 500 items.
