HandyGames' mobile port of their combat-racer Wreckfest has officially launched. After pre-registration opened a little bit earlier, many gamers have been anticipating the release of this destructive racing simulator. Taking inspiration from classic titles like Twisted Metal and FlatOut, Wreckfest has seen a good amount of success on other platforms, so it’s nice to see it finally release a mobile option.

In case you aren’t familiar, Wreckfest sees you take on the role of a racer within a large selection of vehicles, and will test your ability to pilot those vehicles without allowing them to be completely torn apart. With a ton of different game modes and a large selection of different ways to play the game, there’s something for everyone here.

Those game modes can range from a simple destruction-derby type of play, where you’ll do your best to destroy your opponent’s cars and be the last one standing, to obstacle courses where you’ll have to navigate difficult tracks without exploding. There are even just normal old races where you’re somewhat encouraged to ram your opponents off the track.

Regardless of if you’re just looking to blow up some cars, looking for a pretty mechanically sound racing game, or want to test your skills in navigating some really difficult tracks, Wreckfest has you covered in just about every regard.

Combine all of that with a large selection of dozens of cars, trucks, and even dune buggies, and your options to handle all of this vehicular destruction are immense and plentiful. If you’re a fan of the combat racing genre or just racing games in general, you should certainly give Wreckfest a look.

And if you’d like to do just that, you can currently purchase Wreckfest for only $8.99 at either of the links below!
