World of Goo coming to iPad on December 16th
We wish goo a merry Christmas
2D Boy has announced that gloopy gooey physics puzzler World of Goo is coming to iPad on December 16th.
The critically acclaimed indie game has you making towers, bridges, and structures out of gelatinous balls of coloured goo. You’ll have to sacrifice a goo ball to make your foundations, so the fewer you use up in the process, the more you’ll save when the level’s over.
The game should be a perfect fit for the iPad. Instead of taming the wobbly Wii Remote or struggling with an antiquated mouse, you can play World of Goo with your full set of 11 fingers.
World of Goo will cost cost £5.99 / $9.99 on iPad when it hits the App Store. An iPhone version is a “possibility”, 2D Boy’s Ron Carmel told Pocket Gamer, but performance issues and that tiny screen are considerable barriers at the moment.
