Thomas Janson set out to create a game that embodied his frustration at never being satisfied with anything he has made to date.

That game ended up being Wave Wave.

In it, Janson takes the twitchy action, hypnotising visuals, and punchy soundtrack of Super Hexagon, and ramps them all up to hyperbolic levels.

You steer a fast-moving line through a zig-zag gauntlet, while screenshake and dizzying camera bounces distort your view.

Wave Wave will not only test your reflexes, but it will also test your sensual resilience. Accompanying the dizzying screen effects is the loud electronic music of Danimal Cannon and Zef.

The trailer below will give you a taste how all of these high-energy components come together in the game.

Loud, isn't it? Apparently, there's a magical iOS gaming experience behind all that chaos.

We'll have to wait until Wave Wave surfaces on the App Store in early 2014 to see if we can handle it.
