Psychedelic iPhone shooter Wave – Against every BEAT! updated with new missions, improved level design

Color Box Software's shooter Wave- Against every BEAT! has had an update.

Four new missions have been added to Arcade mode for both Casual and Hardcore difficulty settings. Survival and Free Play modes have also been updated, with 'remake all design' and support for AAC and MP3 tracks added.

Further additions include four extra special AI-supported cubes, improved level design throughout the game, a reduction in the sudden-death time counter, and obligatory bug fixes.

Levels in Wave – Against every BEAT! are generated by the beat and rhythm of music. The game features three mini-game modes – Fever, Drive, Sudden Death – numerous AI enhanced enemies and boss battles, and full OpenFeint support.

We gave it a Bronze Award at review for its addictive gameplay and sterling presentation.

Wave - Against every BEAT! is 59p/99c until its next update, after which it'll go up to £2.99 / $4.99.
