Extending its reputation as one of the most promiscuous games on the App Store, the pygmies of Pocket God are set to invade another game - the WWI tactical actioneer Trenches.

The update, which introduces rampaging blue zombie pygmies for your allied troops to take out with rifles, machine gun fire, artillery and poison gas etc has already been submitted to Apple and hence should be live next week.

Little mercenaries

"Although this is the first cross-over Trenches has done with any game, we certainly hope it won't be the last," said Kris Jones, Minister of Propaganda at Trenches' developer Thunder Game Works.

"We've had a great time working with Dave Castelnuovo and Allan Dye [Bolt Creative] to create the tie-in. We love to see the App Store develop and mature and we encourage quality developers to work together to push the quality games and applications above the flood or garbage applications."

Trenches - a Pocket Gamer 7/10 Bronze award winner - is currently available for 99c, €0.79, 59p and hence well worth snapping up as it will be back up to $1.99, €1.59, £1.19 when the update hits.
