In January of this year, it was announced that the mobile Transformers game, Forged to Fight, was ending service. This news came as quite a bummer, as it had been running for over 5 years and developed quite a following as well. However, this news has been reverted entirely, as Netflix has announced plans to revive the game through their games library service, bringing it back without ads or in-game purchases too!

Transformers: Forged to Fight was a 1-on-1 battle game akin to traditional fighting games. Think of something like Shadowfight and you’re not too far off, except this one allowed players to create teams based on characters from all of the Transformers media ranging from the 2010s movies to the comics and even the classic cartoon series too! It was truly a project full of fanservice for dedicated followers of the series.

So, when the news hit earlier this year that this long-running fan favourite was due to end service permanently, a lot of people were rightfully saddened. Luckily for us, Netflix stepped in to save the day and offered up a solution in the form of bringing Forged to Fight to their games library, which is available for all Netflix subscribers worldwide.

Netflix even did us the favour of ridding the game entirely of ads or any of the in-game purchases, instead allowing Netflix subscribers to experience Forged to Fight without any intrusions and in its full glory. All of the content, all of the characters, and everything that was in the game upon shutdown will be within this version too, so you’re really getting an even better experience than before!

If you’d like to check Forged to Fight, you can actually download it for free right now as long as you are a Netflix subscriber by checking out either of the links below this article!
