Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard to hit iPhone on March 17
Tactical deployment
Tactical first-person shooter Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard will be released for iPhone and iPod touch next Friday, March 17.
The latest and greatest in anti-terrorist shooters, the game has you hunting tangos across 11 missions that loosely retell the story of the first Rainbow Six campaign.
Multiplayer - both cooperative and competitive - is the big focus, though. Two buddies can link up with you locally or online for cooperative play through the campaign. This will be the first iOS shooter to offer three-way co-op.
Competitive multiplayer is promised too, with the emphasis squarely on online play where a maximum of 10 players is supported.
A new trailer (see below) highlights multiplayer, as well as shows off the slick graphics. While generally realistic, the graphics have a bit of style - characters look slightly stylised, giving the game a unique look.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard will be available for iPhone and iPod touch; no price has yet been announce, although we estimate it will be £3.99/$6.99.
