App Army Assemble: Tidy Monsters

Not so tidy

Tidy Monsters it's kind of like a match three puzzler. You play as a five year old girl who, understandably, hates tidying her room. Fortunately for her, a pair of monsters named Pickles and Eric (of course) chime in to help her.

What this results in in gameplay terms, is matching a bunch of similar toys using a series of swipes and sticking them in boxes. It sounds like a chore, and I guess it is, but the lovely visuals make up for that.

At review, we said "There's fun to be had, and there's a nice art style too, but you're going to lose interest pretty quickly. This isn't a bad game, but it rests on its laurels far too quickly, and that spells death in a crowded mobile market."

For an alternative opinion, we also gave our team of mobile game addicts in the App Army early access so they could provide you with their thoughts.

Kainen Ryan

Wow. I think I hate this game. It's badly made, boring to play, and too simple - there's just no challenge to it. It looks okay though.

Tom Clark

I have to echo Kainen's sentiments exactly. My grand kids would try this once and move on.

Oksana Ryan

I can only agree with what has already been said. Grandchildren may like it but only the very young ones. Not for anyone looking for a challenge.

NM

There seems to be no challenge, or real discernible game here. It's a flimsy idea, executed badly.

The mechanics are simple enough, but after a few minutes you'll be thinking "now what?"
