Sopranos shuffling up to mobile

With so many mobile poker games already out, any new title really has to stand out from the crowd.

One that has a fighting chance (literally) is THQ Wireless' upcoming The Sopranos Poker, which takes your favourite characters from the TV series and lets you call their bluff. At your own peril, of course.

Characters include Tony Soprano himself as well as Silvio Dante and Paulie Walnuts. Meanwhile, poker variants included are Five Card Draw and Texas Hold'em. THQ says you'll be able to put your personal possessions on the line as well as cash, which should at least appeal to our finest young footballers.

There are plenty of Sopranos fans out there, and the show does lend itself rather well to a poker game. But as ever, it'll be how the game plays that counts.
