We are feeling old at Pocket Gamer for not being better acquainted with the cult late night TV output of Adult Swim. A mobile lesson in what the cool kids are watching may be on the way, however, as wireless entertainment company GlobalFun has just partnered with the folks behind Adult Swim, Turner Broadcasting, to develop a mobile game based on one of its featured programs, The Brak Show.

The game will take shape as a Sims-style offering and features characters from the show. The title is intended to appeal to the same cult audience who are already fans of The Brak Show, and so will retain its trademark humour.

Another of the Adult Swim shows, the fantastically-titled Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law is already being realised in game form on the PSP. And although today's announcement of The Brak Show in game form is the only title that has been named so far for mobile, the deal between GlobalFun and Turner Broadcasting System could yield more mobile games based on cartoons from the Adult Swim cannon.

"We see this as a solid first step in our future dealings with Turner both from a development and distribution point of view," said GlobalFun's CEO Marcus Johnansson, on dipping his toe into these potentially market-expanding waters with Adult Swim.
