Tekken: Resolute about to hit US carriers on Java, WinMo, BlackBerry and BREW

It’s been out in Europe for a few months now under the name of Tekken: Mobile, but finally our US cousins can get a chance to pit the iconic fighters against each other in the renamed Tekken: Resolute.

Tekken: Resolute comes with three game modes that vary between the narrative-driven Story mode, coin-guzzling Arcade, and the royal rumble against multiple opponents that is Tekken Force Mode.

Eight of the original arcade/PSX game’s characters make an appearance in this mobile iteration, each with their range of special moves and tactical considerations intact.

These include the excellently named Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law (I see what they did there), the scary Yoshimitsu, and the fairly normal-sounding Nina Williams among others.

The Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning game is scheduled to hit US networks ‘soon’.
