One of the best things about the mobile games scene right now is that great games can come from just about anywhere. Whereas the world of PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 has become restricted to the major publishing houses due to their multi-million pound development budgets, mobile gems can pop up from just about anywhere.

Last year we unearthed one such gem in the form of Super Yum Yum, a deceptively simple yet elegantly crafted game involving the fruit-munching Leon the chameleon that earned our gold award. It went on to be nominated for a Bafta.

Well, now Leon's back with an even tougher challenge as he battles to save his family from the belly of Tum Tum the Fruit monster. (Don't laugh!)

This time not only must Leon scoff all the fruit – he also has to rescue his chameleon kids before he can complete each level. The colourful offspring promise to add extra subtlety to the puzzling, as they can consume fruit too.

With further variety on offer from an end-of-level mini-game, Super Yum Yum 2 has every chance of following its forbear into our Buyer's Guide charts. Look out for our review, and click 'Track It!' to get it delivered automatically.

Incidentally, if you're still hungry for more fruit-chomping, colour-changing action, we can also reveal that Absolute Super Yum Yum is already underway and has been slated for release next summer.
