As we reported earlier this week, Snakes Subsonic is the next N-Gage game to go live and, as promised, it was made available on Wednesday night (US time).

As with all N-Gage games, a free trial can be downloaded from the N-Gage application on your handset. Pricing to play the full thing is £1.50 for a day, £4 for a week, and £6 for a permanent licence.

If you want more information, read our hands-on preview of the game, which offers 40 levels of solo snake action, plus over-the-network N-Gage Arena multiplayer.

Mind you, if you're planning to upgrade your handset anytime soon, you may wish to read this story before hitting the Buy button.

Oh, and in case you're wondering how Snakes Subsonic will boost your N-Gage Points tally, there's plenty of point pick-ups to be had in the game, from simple things like completing a level and winning a multiplayer game, through to destroying enemy snakes and completing a stage in less than 50 seconds.
