Slay the Spire's mobile ports are now in the QA process
Release date still unknown
MegaCrit's iOS and Android versions of Slay the Spire are among the most highly anticipated mobile ports of the year. The card-battler roguelike first launched for PC, where it went on to win the adoration of most critics and players for its smart systems and incredibly moreish gameplay.
Jon recently put out a list of Slay the Spire alternatives on mobile, but hopefully we won't have too long to wait to play the real thing. Over on Twitter, MegaCrit replied to an impatient fan's joke tweet asking for the game to be "fast tracked" with, "Solely in our publisher's hands at this point. Just waiting for it to go through the QA pass".

Before you get too excited, it's important to remember that the final QA process can take a fair while. Yes, it's probably safe to assume we'll see Slay the Spire on mobile before the year is out, but it's likely at least several months away. This is all purely speculation based on similar cases in the past.
It's nevertheless exciting to know that the port is coming along well. You don't have to look far to see GOTY lists with Slay the Spire in the mix. With its huge selection of collectable cards, multiple playable characters, and endless scope for combat experimentation, it's the sort of title you can easily lose dozens of hours to.
If you simply can't wait to get your hands on the mobile version, you'll find Slay the Spire available for download now from the Nintendo eShop.
