As part of the second wave of OpenFeint Android support, top-down shooter Sky Force now comes with the social gaming network fully integrated. The inclusion now means you can unlock achievements and compare high-scores online.

To celebrate the update, developer Infinite Dreams has dropped the price by 50 per cent. It can now be had for just $1.56 / 98p, though this is a strictly time-limited offer.

The game is a colourful arcade shooter featuring a nice mixture of 2D and 3D graphics, including chunky bosses and nifty weather, and transparency effects.

There’s already a sort-of sequel on the Android Market in the shape of Sky Force Reloaded, but there’s no indication of when (or if) this will gain OpenFeint integration.
