Agharta Studio, the developer behind award-winning iOS point-and-click adventure 1112, has released a new game called Shufflepuck Cantina. We know what you're thinking, but, no, it has nothing to do with Star Wars.

In this arcade sports title, you compete in the fast, frantic, and often bloody (not really) sport of air hockey against a variety of colourful alien beings and characters that are animated entirely in 3D.

Shufflepuck Cantina is said to feature "hundreds of hours" of gameplay, and 250 different missions to complete. There are also 51 achievements to collect as you play, so there are plenty of opportunities for you to add some accolades to your Game Center account.

As you can see from the screenshots in our gallery above, Agharta's latest release looks pretty dashing. That's probably because of the anti-aliasing, blur effects, dynamic lighting, particle physics, and spatial sounds.

Intrigued? If so, you can download Shufflepuck Cantina from the App Store as a Universal app right this second for nada.
